As Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Internet Society, I lead the Legal and Compliance team and advise on how to best further Internet Society's mission in a legally compliant way and implement our organizational strategy while managing risk.
I have 20 years of experience working for technology, telecommunication, and cloud-computing companies. In addition to specializing in regulatory, privacy, and cybersecurity issues, I am skilled at setting legal strategy, overseeing and facilitating key deals and relationships, and leading organizations through high-stakes litigation and crises. Prior to joining Internet Society, I was general counsel, Legal Affairs and Corporate Communications, of the U.S subsidiary of one of the largest global telecommunications carriers, where I advised the company’s senior executive team on a wide variety of legal issues and risk mitigation strategies.
I was born and raised in Moldova and immigrated to the United States in 1996. I love hiking with my family, enjoying delicious meals, and traveling to new places to discover new cultures and cuisines.
