I’ve dedicated my legal career to serving the nonprofit sector. After spending most of a decade as in-house counsel for a US-based veterans service organization, I joined the Internet Society in March 2023, where I enjoy providing legal services to the brilliant and tireless teams who ensure the Internet is for everyone. Good legal advice is impossible without working with people to understand their work and its impact, and I am in constant awe of the work our teams do each and every day.
I grew up in Northern Michigan, developing a love for the outdoors and a distaste for shoveling snow. I now live in Jacksonville, Florida, with my wife, daughter, and two dogs. We love finding shark teeth on the beach, cooking, and traveling to new places.
